Sionelle Williams

Ashburton

My name is Sionelle and I have been providing quality homebased childcare in my own home since early 2015. I adore children and am passionate about providing a loving, stimulating environment to support each child as they learn and grow.

Play based learning and nature-based learning are both very important in our setting, providing tamariki with the opportunity to explore nature, and learn about the world around us.

My home provides a safe, comfortable, and loving environment where children become part of my whanau. Family input and communication is highly valued, and I support cultural learning from all backgrounds. I provide the tamariki in my care with plenty of opportunities for creative and imaginative play & exploration, with art & crafts, messy play, and construction always on the go! Our learning environment is filled with plenty of toys and resources to capture the children’s interests, where they can learn, discover, and explore at their own pace. The outdoor play space has plenty of room to ride bikes, run, jump, climb and explore.

Each week we are involved in various outings and groups out in the community – gymnastics, music group, and story and rhyme time at the local library being the favourites! You can also often find us at local parks and playgrounds on nature-based adventures where the children can explore and discover the natural world around them.
